The Johns Hopkins Hospital Eating & Weight Disorders Program, together with the Education for Health & Wellness Center, the Student Health Center and the Counseling and Student Development Center at Johns Hopkins University, will participate in the National Eating Disorders Screening Program during National Eating Disorders Awareness Week February 5 to 11, with the following:
"Losing Perspective: When Do Your Eating Habits Get You in Trouble?" What are the warning signs and symptoms of eating disorders, who gets them, what causes them, how to cure them, how to help someone who has one. Lecture by Angela S. Guarda, M. D., Instructor, Department of Psychiatry, Johns Hopkins University and Assistant Director, Eating & Weight Disorders Program, Johns Hopkins Hospital. Question & Answer session following lecture with Dr. Guarda and Dr. James B. Wirth, Assistant Professor, Department of Psychiatry, Johns Hopkins University and Director, Eating & Weight Disorders Program, Johns Hopkins Hospital.
