Valina Lynn Dawson, Ph.D., assistant professor in the Department of Neurology at The Johns Hopkins Medical Institutions, has become the first Hopkins recipient of a Scholar Award from the American Foundation for AIDS Research. She will receive research funding of $112,200 for three years for her project, "Nitric Oxide in SIV associated Neuropathology."
