On Wednesday, June 29 at 10 a.m. in CMSC 906, Dr. Ben Carson win discuss his recent trip to South Africa to separate conjoined twins. Carson led a surgical team of more than two dozen physicians at Ga-Rankuwa Hospital, 30 miles north of Pretoria, South Africa.

The twins, Mahlatse and Nthabieseng Makwaeba, were separated on June 14; however, both infants died from complications of the surgery.
