The teaming of Sam Ritter and Rebecca Snider is to the medical world
what a strategic
merger would be in corporate America. For the first time, two of this
nations top clinicians
and researchers in pediatric cardiology are working together. As the
attached story explains
they are a team in every sense of the word.
Ritter and Snider are husband/wife, pianist/art collector, physicians.
(They even share the
same birth date!) And at the Johns Hopkins Children's Center they want
to transform the way
children's heart disease is diagnosed and treated.
Until Ritter and Snider moved to Baltimore last month, they had not
lived or worked together,
despite their marriage last year. He was at Cornell and she was at
Duke, but their presence
