Dilip S. Kittur, M.D., Sc.D., associate professor of surgery at The Johns Hopkins Medical Institutions since 1991, has been appointed director of the Johns Hopkins pancreas transplant program.
He joined the Hopkins faculty in 1985 as an assistant professor of surgery after completing his postdoctoral fellowship in immunology and endocrinology at Hopkins. Kittur was director of the national United Network for Organ Sharing from 1985 to 1990.
