Houston Rockets basketball star Sam Cassell will blast into town August 25 to greet kids at the first-ever "Community Festival for School Readiness" in Historic East Baltimore. Children get free immunizations if parents bring their health records. There's also games, prizes and refreshments. It's 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the corner of Monument Street and Rutland Avenue. The festival is sponsored by the parents and staff of the Harriet Lane clinic at the Johns Hopkins Children's Center. Call 614-2811 for details.
