Have you wrenched, sprained or pulled a muscle in your back within the past two weeks? If so, you may qualify for an FDA approved study using a device to reduce back pain. This new concept involves the use of electromagnets that produce a mild warming sensation. The study is sponsored by the researchers at the Johns Hopkins Department of Rehabilitation Medicine, but is not useful for those with chronic back pain. For more information, call Betty Ann at 532-4722.
