Reaching for the papers that would determine their destiny, 119 graduating medical students soon broke the seals and at the stroke of noon read simultaneously the news of where they’ll do their residency training. It was March 15, the Ides of March, but the mood on Turner Concourse was anything but dark and foreboding.
